How long does impregnation last?

A high-quality hydrophobic impregnation usually protects the surface for 5 to 10 years, depending on the material, its absorbency and weather exposure. After this period, we recommend an inspection and, if necessary, renewal of the protective layer.

Will the appearance of the surface change?

No, we use a matt, colourless impregnation that does not form a film or gloss. The surface retains its natural appearance, texture and water vapour permeability.

Can protection be applied to an existing surface?

Yes, we also apply protection to older surfaces, but only after thorough cleaning and drying. Dirt, moss or old coatings must be removed first, otherwise they would be sealed under the protective layer.

How is a surface with anti-graffiti protection cleaned?

Graffiti is removed from a protected surface with pressurised hot water or a gentle cleaning agent, without damaging the substrate. With sacrificial systems, the protective layer is renewed after cleaning.
